If you’re looking for a way to elevate your family portraits year after year, I suggest you plan out your clothing and color story for your family portrait session.

There’s a ton of inspiration on Pinterest! My favorite is when clients come to me with an idea of how they want to style their family’s outfits. I find the best thing to do is coordinate colors with each other but not to totally match.

For example, if we’re doing portraits in a predominantly green area, I would suggest for the family to wear warm tones like tans, reds, and yellows!
