The first time I met, Josh + Lexi in real life was on the day of their engagement session.

I had been an admirer of Lexi on Instagram for quite some time (she 100% should model, shouldn’t she?) and I was able to meet Josh for a mural project via Zoom Meeting a few weeks prior (small world!) And honestly, I hit the jackpot with these two.

They were both so easy to pose together and it is apparent how much they radiate their love for one another.

We started off their session on the iconic Grand Rapids Blue Bridge then we made our way to Aquinas College. Aquinas is such a beautiful campus, specifically in the fall and serves as an amazing backdrop for photos.

I mean, c’mon! Just look at these two. I am 100% oversharing so many photos from their session simply because I can’t narrow it down. There were so many great photos from this session. They shared with me the story of they met, we joked around, and documented the in-between moments to capture them as authentically as I could.

The love they have for each other can’t be faked. As the sun sets, we headed back downtown to change up the backdrop for their photos. We headed to one of my favorite parts of downtown and my favorite parking ramp downtown. The light at that parking ramp never fails. And honestly, some of these fun shots are my favorite.
