Celebrating Anniversaries Admist a Worldwide Pandemic
We had a lot of plans for 2020 but the worldwide pandemic put a dent in our plans. In many ways, the pandemic forced us to slow down, enjoy the moment, and think of others.
We spent March through June under a stay-at-home order in the State of Michigan uncertain with what the future would hold for the health of the world, our families, and our business.
By June, we were slowly rolling back into "reopening” our city, and everything we knew as “normal” had been forever changed.
Before the pandemic, we had plans to visit my best friends, Leeann + Max, in Denver to celebrate their 5th wedding anniversary as well as our 3rd wedding anniversary.
Luckily, we were able to sneak away during Labor Day weekend for an extended weekend to visit Leeann + Max’s new home and get away from our reality for a few days.
We went to Lost Gulch Overlook to celebrate Leeann + Max’s vow renewals for their 5th wedding anniversary. There were several onlookers that thought this was a COVID elopement and we happily played along.
I think adventure sessions are my new favorite type of session. Whether it be for an engagement, an anniversary session, an elopement session, or the day after your wedding. Not only are you going to get epic photos, but it will document your love for generations in beautiful settings.
Tommy & I try to do the same thing. We spend no more than 30 minutes at a location to snap some photos of us together. It is a wonderful way to celebrate your relationship, your love, and document your life together.
